Alaska Atmos Rewards Global Getaways: Spring 2026
Alaska Airlines launches Atmos Rewards Global Getaways for spring 2026 with up to 60% off awards to Copenhagen, Helsinki, Hokkaido, Munich, Prague, and Vienna.
Alaska Airlines just launched its latest Atmos™ Rewards Global Getaways promotion — and this one is worth a look.
Global Getaways is a quarterly award sale Alaska runs, offering discounted redemptions on select international destinations. This quarter's theme is "Spring Comes Early," providing a great opportunity to travel before peak summer crowds hit.
Alaska is offering up to 60% off award tickets to select destinations for travel between February 27 and May 12, if booked between February 17 and February 27.
Full details are available on Alaska's newsroom.

What Is Atmos™ Rewards Global Getaways?
Global Getaways is essentially Alaska's curated award sale, spotlighting discounted partner redemptions across its international network.
Unlike standard award pricing, these offers:
- Apply to specific destinations
- Run for a limited booking window
- Feature reduced award rates
This quarter's focus is early spring travel — when crowds are lighter and availability is typically better.
Featured Destinations This Quarter
Here's what Alaska is promoting for this Spring edition:
Copenhagen, Denmark
Starting at 20,000 points
A strong option for early spring before peak summer tourism. Copenhagen blends food, waterfront views, and easy day trips to castles and coastal towns.

Helsinki, Finland
Starting at 17,500 points
One of the lower starting prices in this quarter's lineup. Early spring in Helsinki means fewer tourists, access to sauna culture, and striking Nordic architecture. Finnair is a fantastic oneworld partner and is well worth a try.
If you're connecting through Helsinki, check out our guide on the Helsinki Airport fast transfer — it's surprisingly efficient.
Hokkaido, Japan
Starting at 20,000 points
Japan's northernmost island offers spring skiing, cherry blossoms, and wide-open landscapes. If you're looking for something different from Tokyo or Osaka, this is it. This year has seen record snow, making it a great destination for last-minute Japan award redemptions.
Munich, Germany
Starting at 30,000 points
Bavaria in the spring hits a sweet spot: alpine views without peak summer pricing.
Prague, Czech Republic
Starting at 30,000 points
Prague's historic center is much easier to enjoy before summer crowds arrive. A classic European spring destination.
Vienna, Austria
Starting at 20,000 points
Coffee houses, classical music, and Baroque architecture. Vienna is especially appealing in shoulder season.
Timing Matters
This promotion has two strict windows:
- Book: February 17–27
- Travel: February 27–May 12
If you're considering one of these destinations, you'll want to search sooner rather than later.
Because this is a quarterly promotion, these routes and pricing won't necessarily stick around once the booking window closes.
The Bigger Picture
Alaska has been steadily positioning Atmos™ Rewards as a globally competitive loyalty program — especially with expanded partnerships and improved status earning.
Quarterly promotions like Global Getaways reinforce that strategy. Instead of hunting manually for random saver awards, this gives members a curated shortlist of international deals.
Use the Alaska Atmos™ Rewards calculator to see how many points you could earn on your next flight and plan accordingly.
My Take
If you're already planning a spring trip, this is worth checking. The featured destinations are solid and the award pricing represents some great deals.
Two of my favorite options include Copenhagen and Helsinki. Both are cities that I hope to spend more time in — outside of an airport transfer speed run!
