JetBlue's second BlueHouse lounge opens at Boston Logan August 27. Mint customers now get complimentary access.

JetBlue announced Sunday that its second BlueHouse airport lounge will open at Boston Logan Terminal C at 5 a.m on Thursday, August 27, 2026. It's a 12,000 square foot space with Boston-inspired design, a full food and beverage program, and a genuine sense of Boston character throughout.

There's also a smaller announcement in the same release that's worth catching: a new Mint Base fare tier is coming.

    What BlueHouse Boston Is

The lounge will fill 12,000 square feet in Terminal C. Its design leans heavily into Boston and New England.

    Some of the distinctive spaces:

    • The Neighborhood Bar
    • The Dugout - a game room
    • The Candy Closet
    • The Library Workspace

Mint Customers Now Get Complimentary Access

Starting August 27, JetBlue is expanding complimentary BlueHouse access at both Boston and New York locations to include all customers traveling on Mint or Mint Flex fares - even domestic fares. Previously, BlueHouse was primarily a benefit for Mosaic 4 elite members and JetBlue Premier Cardmembers.

    Customer Access Guest Policy
Mosaic 4 Members Complimentary 1 free guest + $39 additional
JetBlue Premier Cardmembers Complimentary 1 free guest + $39 additional
Mint Customers (NEW) Complimentary $39 per guest
    Mosaic 3 $59 one-time pass
    Mosaic 1-2 $79 one-time pass
JetBlue Plus & Business Cardmembers $79 one-time pass

Eligible customers can enter up to three hours before scheduled departure.

    The Mint Base Announcement

Buried in the release: JetBlue is introducing a new lower-fare option called Mint Base in the coming weeks. The details:

    • Cheaper than standard Mint
    • Does NOT include lounge access
    • Does NOT include complimentary seat selection
    • Fees will apply to changes and cancellations

Standard Mint and Mint Flex fares keep lounge access, advance seat selection, and no change or cancellation fees.

    The Bigger Pattern

Add BlueHouse Boston to the BlueFirst domestic first class announcement from earlier this summer and the direction is clear. JetBlue is investing in premium.

The New York BlueHouse was named the #1 "Best Airport Lounge" in Newsweek's Readers' Choice Awards 2026, which is a signal that JetBlue's lounge product is competing at the top of the market. If Boston lands the same way, the network will become a big asset to B6's product offering.
